We are glad you are coming to experience the Harry Bass Core Collection! Short of viewing the complete exhibition in Colorado Springs at the ANA Money Museum, we hope that this virtual tour of this fantastic exhibit will suffice, until you can get there to see it in person. This virtual exhibition is set up much like the actual exhibition room there, with the items being numbered the same way, and displayed with similar information about each coin, pattern or piece of currency. In addition, here we have provided an enlarged, detailed view of each item, along with very detailed description and Mr. Bass's notes or comments about that item, when he recorded such in his database. Once you have enjoyed this richness of this virtual site, it will make you want to go there to see the items "in person." and you will already be familiar with the way it is organized. If you have already been there, and are now coming to this virtual site, you will immediately feel familiar with the organization and layout of the information presented. A published Sylloge of the Harry Bass Core Collection is also available, written by noted numismatic author, Q. David Bowers, president of Bowers and Merena Galleries, which handled the four Bass Sales. The Sylloge provides this same written information on each item in the Collection in printed form, along with pictures in full color. Copies are available through the ANA Money Museum, or Bowers and Merena.
