This is a further design modification by Christian Gobrecht. This head style is identified by having just five curls with the hair swept back from above the front edge of the coronet. Opinions differ regarding artistic merits of this design.
This choice Mint State coin is one of few surviving and is most likely one of the five or six finest known for this date.
